Maurice Henriques, Founder of R.E.A.L. Training
Maurice has been working at the 20th Judicial District as a Juvenile Probation Officer for 18 years and counting. He earned his BA in Sociology with efficiency in Criminology and minor in Communication in 1997 from the University of Colorado. He received his mediation certificate for conflict resolution in 2009, and has been mediating for the Boulder Valley School District for 7 years now. Maurice also has been the Head Track and Field coach at Niwot High School since 2010. He has guided the Niwot girls track team to three 4A State Team titles in 2013, 2014 and 2015. He won the award for Denver Post Coach of the Year 2013 and in 2015, he was named Colorado USTFCCCA Girls Track Coach of the Year.
Christina Henriques, Director of Outreach Program
Christina earned her BA in Kinesiology in 1997 at the University of Colorado. She received her RN in 2006 and has been working as a nurse at Lutheran Hospital ever since. She also has been involved in the Making Choices Program for the last 8 years, which was designed to mentor incarcerated women.
Lauren Battista, Program Coordinator, Administrative Assistant
Lauren earned her B.A in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2013, and has been working with disadvantaged youth for four years now. Lauren interned at the 20th Judicial District Probation Department in Boulder County for one year, working in the Juvenile Intensive Supervision Probation field. She taught the R.E.A.L. Training Leadership Program at Justice High School in Lafayette, CO and is the Assistant Coach of the Indoor Soccer program.
