Questions:

We develop endurance, determination, and confidence. We train as a team to build up our runners so they're better equipped for whatever comes their way in running, school, and life. We prepare our runners for high school and college cross country and track.

What Does the Training Look Like?

Our practices include pre-run prep, helping our young runners with a full assortment of glute activation, hip mobility, athletic development, and just specifically getting them ready for what they're about to do—run. Our pre-run prep menu includes mini-band work, leg swings, group drills, agility ladders, speed cones, hurdle drills, and more.

Most of our runs will take place on soft surfaces with varied terrain—grass, hills, track, flats, gravel trails, and dirt roads.

Runs and workouts are varied. Hills are a common theme. Long runs, tempo/threshold training and Interval running all have a spot in the training program. Race paces and energy systems are introduced and developed during practice. Training will be varied, with some recurring workouts.

The runs and workouts are differentiated based on fitness, age, injury concerns, goals, and an athlete's talent.

REAL = Responsibility. Education. Athletics. Leadership.

Our guiding principles are present throughout our program and coaches are always looking for ways to help our kids grow as humans. We are running ambassadors in the community, making friends with our neighbors and fellow trail users. At practice, meets and races, we good teammates and grateful competitors, respecting our opponents and hosts, by leaving our area better than we found it, and being thanking for those who made the competition possible.
